I love Yankee Candles , i buy Yankee Candle Tarts and Votives weekly so i thought i would start a Yankee series sharing what candle I'm burning.

I wore this dress when i went to London this week , you may recognise it from this post .  I managed to source it in a bigger size because i was kidding myself to think i would slim down to a size 22 anytime soon .........*cue sigh*So i now own two of these dresses ! I have nicknamed this dress the anytime dress as you really can wear this dress for any occasion its easy to dress up and down i wear it every week.

Unfortunately the dress is not available in store at Evans anymore , i bought it in the late spring , i hate to show items on the blog that you can longer buy ;-(  im really sorry about that , i often get asked "where can i  buy the dress"  when i wear the dress and people are always surprised to hear its from Evans , Evans do get it right girls ! Young stylish fashion is available if you just take the time to look properly on line / in store.

I bought these in Boots for £8.99. I am in love with these nails. These are my first ever false nails so i have nothing to compare them too but they have lasted me all day and survived the washing up ! only downside for me is the price , £9 is a little expensive for nails that are going to last a few days or maybe thats a reasonable price for false nails ? im such a false nail virgin ;-P

Clements & Ribeiro 2nd Swan collection for Evans - Blogger Event.

I'm just going to photo dump here ....You ready ?? Here goes ;-)

Has anything caught your eye  ?? I must admit i liked the 1st collection but i didn't love it , now the 2nd collection i LOVE !! there are many pieces that i could see myself wearing , so much so,  i tried a few things on

The coat of my dreams .. I need this coat in my life , i will be constantsly dream about this coat  until it becomes mine. I have nicknamed this coat the Thelma Madine coat ! If you watch my big fat gypsy wedding you will notice that Thelma's coat is near identical to this . 

 The coat of my dreams agan ! I hear its going to be priced at £125 which means i need to start saving my pennies now if i want this to be mine eekk

This cardigan is pretty elegant and super soft with dainty beading and detailing. There is a downside with this cardigan , it has a satin lining which veto's any stretch the cardigan has .The lining makes the cardigan look chic but its just not practical for me the lining makes me hot and bothered which isn't a great look . (edit- lining is not in the sleeves on the cardigan only the body)

I have nicknamed this cardi the 'FOX' cardigan .This is deffo a Xmas day cardigan . I will be wearing this cardi and pulling my crackers and stuffing my face full of turkey ! 

My overall verdict is  -- LOVE LOVE LOVE . If anyone hates on this collection then they must be crazy. Clements and Ribeiro have really listened to watch people wanted and i really appreciate that. I cannot wait for this collection to hit the shops i will be at the Cardiff store on launch day to buy my ''thelma'' coat and ''fox '' cardigan.

This is my first maxi skirt bought in Evans , its quiet a statement piece and if I'm honest Ive struggled with styling it as its very look at me ! . I trawled through blogs to see how other girls wear maxi skirts and it seems that wearing a boob tube with the skirt is the way forward so this is my take on the boob tube maxi skirt trend . 

Finding a boob tube for a plus size girl is hard ! So i cheated and found a mini jersey skirt in New Look and used it as a boob tube it was also a little bargain £3 in  the new look sale ;-) Its so bright on colourful , i feel i should be on holiday .

 As a plus size girl i know it can a little scary wearing bright bold prints and colours but there really is no need to be scared i look & feel great and you can too.

This was yesterdays outfit , had some errands to run and a few important meetings to attend so i needed a smart but casual outfit . Ive been dying to wear my yellow belt for so long , but i have never found the right top to style it with,  until i found this tunic at the back of the wardrobe , (yes my wardrobe eats clothes and spits them back out on the floor !). I really love this tunic the best thing for me is the lentgh of the sleeves , it covers my most hated bingo wings .

A rainy day wont stop me from wearing a skirt ! I've had this skirt a long time now and this is the first time i wear it and it bloody rains, then later in the day i find it in the new look sale for half price ,gutting.

Today i spent the day in Cardiff , I love Cardiff , its a place id love to live if i had lots of money , houses are so expensive in Cardiff so all i can do is dream . I spent the day with friends just enjoying the shops picked up a few sale bargains in the new look sale and splurged on a stunning pair of wedges and your never guess where from ... the CROCS shop ! Thats right the crocs shop . I will show you them in a separate post .

A sneak peak into my bedroom

I mentioned in this post that i was decorating my bedroom and needed help with choosing the wallpaper .. do you want to see the results ??

 On to the before ....

The before - A plain children's bedroom horrid cream walls , why are  new build homes are painted magnolia? just plain and boring. I swapped bedrooms with my daughters as i had the largest master bedroom of the house and i felt it was  far to big for just me so i swapped into the smallest double room of the house. I guess the best part of blank walls is that you have a blank canvas to work your magic on !

taa dahhh !! I absolutely love it its an explosion of colour. The wall paper is from b&q at the bargain price of £12.99 per roll the paint is also from b&q Dulux dusted fondant. My bedroom furniture is from ikea , in fact everything is from ikea inc the bedding!

I love my new bedroom its so girly , and my new ikea dressing table is to die for . This post is only a sneak peek as i plan to to a full room tour post in the future.

The olympics london 2012 Cardiff style

Cardiff is buzzing with Olympic fever , I may not be  London but Cardiff has had a great go at Supporting London 2012 and making the Welsh folk part of the games . I thought id share some pictures of Olympic fever in Cardiff.

The Giant screens in The Hayes. These are a permanant fixture i have even watched Dr who on these screens.

This is the temporary seating area they have set up in The Hayes for you to watch the games.
